I love everything about fall. The changing leaves, the bonfires, the sweatshirt weather, and the pumpkin patches. Every year we take the kids to a pumpkin patch, and I’d be lying if I said I don’t love it just as much as the kids! I walk around in my cozy sweater, sipping on my apple cider, and I take it all in. I watch the kids run and play and climb, and it just warms my heart.

This year I had a friend recommend a new pumpkin patch that has only been open a few years. We decided to give it a try since our kids were getting burnt out on the one we had always gone to before. Best. Decision. Ever.

Friends, if you’re local to Kansas or Oklahoma, Rustic Roots is the best pumpkin patch we have ever been to! There was so much for us to do, and we had a blast! The owners were so welcoming and sweet, and we didn’t want to leave.

Not only did they have the actual patch where the kids could pick their own pumpkins, but they had all sorts of different rare types of pumpkins that were teal, white, and pale yellows. They were gorgeous!

Their petting zoo was a total hit, and the kids are now begging us for a pig and goats!

I feel like I need to give a warning for the corn maze. We went in expecting it to be over in just a few minutes. Nope, this corn maze is huge, and awesome, and you might want to take in snacks in case you get lost! Haha! (Kidding, kind of.)

Jake was really concerned about all the amazing corn that was getting trampled. True farmer. Haha

This place is truly worth the drive. They have something for everyone, and are so welcoming. They even do weddings and events here, which would be so fun because the scenery is just amazing! There were dozens of cute little setups for photo ops (calling all moms). We can’t wait to go back for their winter season to see what all they have planned!
