I am always amazed at how aware Grady is of what’s going on. Since harvest has started he has played with only his combines and tractors. He talks about daddy cutting wheat and how the combine and grain cart work. I think that kid knows more about it than I do sometimes. If he hears Jake talk about something being broke down, he even makes sure to have a matching breakdown on his own equipment. He is a perfect mini-me of Jake.

Last night Jake took him to ride on the combine and when I walked into the living room this is what I saw. It is so simple, but so sweet to me. He looks up to Jake so much and has an incredible role model. I know he was so excited to spend the evening with him and get to ride the big combine. He must have had a blast because he was exhausted when they came inside and didn’t even fight going to bed. I think Jake probably enjoyed it just as much as Grady did too.
